Senior LAMP Developer

Job Description

The Senior LAMP Developer function will be to help plan, design, develop, test, debug, and deploy highly-available applications using best-of-breed open source technologies. An ideal candidate will be an extremely proficient PHP developer with JQuery, XML, CSS and XHTML experience and will be comfortable handling new challenges involving emerging open-source technologies.

4+ years of web development experience in a LAMP environment.Experience in developing web applications to integrate with e-commerce, cms, crm and social networking platforms.Solid experience with version control, JavaScript, Jquery, CSS and a thorough understanding of OOP principles and production experience with one or more web applicable object oriented languages.Knowledge of SEO.Experience with web services and API integration.2 years of hands-on experience in Joomla.

Desired Candidate Profile :

Provide a senior-level contribution to a team responsible for the design, development and implementation of critical web applications using best-of-breed open-source technologies.

Work with traditional software lifecycle methodologies. Create design documents when and as required. Perform coding, debugging and testing.
